My aim with teaching is to connect people with my belief that learning an instrument should be an enjoyable and inspiring journey. If you're a complete beginner exploring the fundamentals, this is no different. Throughout our sessions, I will focus not only on the technical aspects but also on fostering a creative mindset that encourages self-expression and enjoyment as well as musical and personal growth.

If you’re at the point in your journey of having a decent grasp on how to connect what you’ve learnt and translate it into music, this level is for you. We will take this foundation and fill in every gap through thorough exploration of right hand techniques, scales and how they relate to chords, (CAGED, arpeggios and beyond) and fundamental concepts such as tension and release - whilst tailoring all information and approaches to your musical and learning styles, influences and personality.

A lifelong endeavour.

This is the level with no end. Here, we will continue to weave in concepts from The Essentials, as we understand where you're heading and why. This process takes time, analysis, and openness to form conclusions about what you're trying to express through the instrument — and why. This is the formula for creating a unique voice: one that is indivisible from authenticity and your connection to yourself, and, subsequently, to your audience — however that may sound.
